We love to introduce you Viola Isenbürger!
Viola is supporting now our team at soilfilms. After 20 years in the industry she offers a deep knowledge from storytelling till postproduction. She worked at “Das Werk” as a commercial editor for clients like BMW, Nintendo, Ferrero, Sony Music, Nike and the ZDF (German TV Channel). She edited documentaries like “The Final Insult” by Charles Burnett for the Documenta X in Kassel and “The A-Z of separating People from their money” with Dennis Hopper for the Filmfestival in Cannes.
From 1999 Viola started her own company www.violagoepel.com, where she produces Trailer, Spots, Image – and Documentary Films. She graduated her film studies at UdK Berlin (class of Jutta Brückner and Thomas Arslan) with her documentary trilogy “family stories” and received a scholarship from the European Institute for Cinema in Karlsruhe (EIKK).
Viola directed and produced more than 40 theatrical trailers, e.g. Hans-Christian Schmidt‘s „Requiem“ and Sam Garbarski‘s „Irina Palm“ for international film productions and distributors. She created the communication concept (Teaser, Trailer, TV Spots, Claim) for the international success „Good Bye – Lenin“ by Wolfgang Becker and worked on the Making of “The Perfume” directed by Tom Tykwer. For clients like Puma Viola produced and directed numerous imagefilms.
With her international experience of working in Los Angeles and Hongkong she is now based back in Berlin at soilfilms.
