RANIA’S DREAM

The documentary portrays the Egyptian puppeteer and activist Rania Refaat. With her theater group "Pergola" she is making a courageous contribution to strengthening women's rights and expanding social awareness of oppression and abuse of power. Rania's Dream is the portrait of a strong woman who swims against the tide in politically charged times and risks a lot in the process.
